To appropriate the sum of $109,148.00 out of the NMI Social Security Retirement Fund to defray the operation and contingent expenses of the NMI Social Security Administration for FY 1979; effective 11-24-78.
To amend NMI Social Security Act to: increase the contribution and benefits base amount, the earnings test exempt amount, and retirement, disability, and survivors benefit amounts; to modify the provisions regarding disability benefits, survivors benefits for children, and the life of applications to make them more like those in the US Social Security Act, and to clarify the starting date for purposes of determining fully insured status; effective 03-16-79.
To establish a Retirement Fund for the Government of CNMI; effective 01-18-80.
Making appropriations for retirement contributions, fuel for power generation, medical referrals, and medical supplies for the FY ending September 30, 1981; effective 07-30-81.
To appropriate the sum of $144,240 out of the NMI Social Security Retirement Fund to defray the operation and contingent expenses of the NMI Social Security Administration for FY 1981; effective 08-10-81.
To amend the Act establishing the Northern Marianas Retirement Fund, PL 1-43, as amended by PL 2-18; effective 10-01-81.
To amend the NMI Social Security Act to increase benefits for retirement, disability, and survivors, roll back the increase in tax rates for contributions after 1980, increase base amount of 1981, increase the amount which may be earned without reduction of benefits, exempt persons over 72 years from any reduction due to earnings, change the method for computing self-employment taxes; effective 10-15-80.
To make Supplemental Appropriation for the sum of $500,000 for Retirement fund program for the FY ending September 30, 1982; effective 06-14-82.
To amend §'s 104(z), 401(b) and 402 of PL 3-11 to provide that any passenger disembarking from a ship or an airplane may import for personal use and consumption a limited amount of cigarettes, tobacco, distilled alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, or sake which shall be exempt from excise taxes; to exempt books and other educational materials purchased by a school or library from the excise tax; to provide that persons importing for non-business use shall be exempt from the general excise tax; to provide benefits paid by the US Social Security Administration and the NMI Retirement Fund shall not be taxed as wages and salaries; effective 11-04-82.
To designate the first Sunday of October of each year as "Ha'anen Retiru" for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; effective 12-14-82.
To appropriate the sum of $136,100.00 of the NMI Social Security Retirement Fund to defray the operation and contingent expenses of the NMI Social Security Administration for FY 1982; effective 05-06-82.

To amend 1 CMC§ 81 17(i) of the Commonwealth Civil Service Act to provide that the Civil Service Commission shall amend the Civil Service Rules and Regulations to remove any and all provisions requiring that persons seeking to be certified as eligible for a civil service position have prior work experience if such persons possess a Bachelor's, Masters, or Doctoral degree. in a field of expertise related to the civil service position for which the person has applied.
To require insurance coverage for individuals with diabetes in the Commonwealth; and for other purposes.
To impose an employer retirement contribution rate of eighteen percent for employees funded by the general fund; and for other purposes.
To create portable individual retirement accounts for all new public employees who are hired on or after Jan. 01, 2007; effective 06-16-06.

To revise the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation's Utility Rate Structure to ensure CUC's continuing ability to deliver vital utility services; to provide flexibility to the governor and other expenditure authorities to reprogram funds for the remainder of fiscal year 2008; to suspend earmarking of certain non-general fund revenue; to authorize CUC to use a portion of customer security deposits to pay for its fuel expenses; to set the government employer contribution rate at 11% for fiscal year 2008; to increase certain government services fees; and for other purposes.
